Sunnyside was built in 2020 on a site located 5km north of Murray Bridge, adjacent to the Murray River. It was designed as a small scale on-farm generator (with a footprint of 500m2) and intended to reduce cost and generate income for the owner, Robert Sherrah.

The site was built by Meralli Solar with support from local supplier Venergy Australia, using the cutting edge Jurchen Tech PEG Substructure System, designed in Germany. Meralli’s three-person team built the generator in 5 days using JA Solar 385W modules.

Working with Meralli Solar was a hassle-free experience from the time we first started talking. They made some suggestions, and as a result, we altered plans to better suit the location and that advice was very much appreciated.

Once they were on site, their effort to make sure the build was completed on time, in such a narrow timeframe, was second to none. We had some very hot weather during the build which was a real challenge but it did not impact their drive to complete on time.

I would not hesitate to recommend the team from Meralli.
