- The price of zinc is rising and will affect the price of renewables supplies (via ABC)

- More and more Australian companies are learning how solar can improve their bottom line: Australia’s largest rooftop solar project (10MW) goes live (via AFR) + Bendigo and Adelaide Bank have installed a 200 kW rooftop solar system (via PV Magazine).
- NSW declares a second Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) located around Armidale, expecting $10 billion in private investment, 830 operational jobs, as well as 1,250 construction jobs each year (via Saur Energy).
- SA makes new renewables record using 100% wind and solar for an entire week (via goodnewsnetwork.org).
- Victoria’s remaining brown coal-fired power stations are likely to close years earlier than expected as the cost of renewable energy continues to fall.
