- More than $100 billion of potential investment has been put forward in the registration of interest for the massive Hunter-Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone (7news).
- Australia boasts $830 billion of large scale renewable projects including onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, hydrogen electrolysers and storage (Renew Economy).
- New data shows that renewable energy generation in the NEM increased by almost 20% in 2021 while gas generation declined across the country to its lowest level in more than 15 years (PV Magazine).
- WA will join SA in having authority to turn off household solar systems in emergency situations or at times when the grid is under severe stress (ABC).
